Getting Started
Start by reaching out to get your questions answered. You can contact us here. After we answer your questions, a local Adoption Specialist will meet with you at a place and time you find most comfortable. You can also just come to our office. Whatever works best for you.
Pick a Family (if you wish)
After we’ve gotten to know each other, and once you’re sure that adoption is right for you, you have the option of choosing the family that will adopt your child. If you want us to pick the family, we will do that for you. If you want to pick the family — most moms do — then we will provide you with tons of information and pictures of families eager to adopt, and you can make a well-informed choice. You are in the driver’s seat. And after you’ve chosen a family, you can develop a relationship with them — if that is what you want. We’ll be there to guide and support you every step of the way.
What happens next?
What happens after the adoption depends on the type of adoption plan you choose for yourself. Most moms choose to remain in contact with the adoptive family. That contact may be indirect, involving pictures and letter updates. Or it may involve personal visits. Again, these are your choices — made in advance, and a reflection of what you want for yourself and your child. Whatever you choose, we will continue providing you with support for as long as you need us. We’re here for you. We always will be.
